We arrived at Mill’s Beach, Mornington to find perfect conditions. It was fine with a light sea breeze. Our eight keen paddlers were soon on the water. We headed for the breakwater pier. As we rounded the pier we saw cormorants on the rocks. The water was very clear so Brian put his line out hoping for a fish. Bob was able to take a group photo as we all rafted up. Heading back Steve & Penny explored the harbour. We continued on towards Sunnyside Beach. Tony had the Billy boiling as we arrived back at the beach. It was great to have Carol back paddling in good style. Everyone agreed that this is a great launching spot. We talked about Devils Bend as a future paddle perhaps as early as December the 2nd.
