Patterson River – July 2018

It was 5 degrees as we headed for the Patterson River.

The sun came out as we paddled under the newly constructed road bridge, out in the bay we headed NW into a slight chop.

Martin was having his final paddle before he heads off North for several weeks.

We heard the sounds of penguins & soon after spotted two swimming rapidly away, after an hour we turned for home back to Patterson River.

The sun was warm & we made good with a tail wind & a following swell, one freak wave gave us a surprise.

We covered 9 kms in 2 hours.

Thanks Dennis
